XD4Robotics Internship Program 2026/2027 – Build Autonomous Intelligence

A unique opportunity to work with real robotics systems, AI integration and autonomous technologies in an industrial environment.

XD4Robotics Internship Program 2026/2027 — Build Autonomous Intelligence

This XD4Robotics robotics internship program is a unique opportunity to work with real robotic platforms, AI integration and autonomous technologies in a real industrial environment.

We Do Not Build Robots. We Build Autonomous Intelligence.

At XD4Solutions, after more than a decade operating in complex industrial environments — mining, chemicals, pulp and paper, oil and gas, and energy — we identified a critical gap in the market: the lack of scalable, real-world robotics integration. That is the foundation of our robotics internship program: building real talent for real systems. However, the gap goes beyond technical skills. To address this challenge, we launched XD4Robotics in 2026 — a dedicated robotics development spin-off focused on building and integrating autonomous intelligence into robotic platforms. Through this initiative, we are opening the XD4Robotics Internship Program 2026/2027, designed to identify and develop engineering students ready to work beyond theory — directly in real-world robotics environments.

A Real Engineering Environment

Specifically, selected candidates will work directly with advanced quadruped and humanoid robotic platforms from Unitree Robotics, contributing to the development of real industrial solutions deployed across:
  • Mining
  • Oil & Gas
  • Chemicals
  • Pulp & Paper
  • Renewable Energy
In addition, interns will work alongside the XD4Robotics integration team, participating in:
  • Robotics software development
  • Teleoperation systems
  • AI and perception integration
  • Sensor and payload integration
  • Real-world system validation
This is not a simulated environment. This is real engineering.

Technology Stack and Integration Exposure

Participants will be exposed to real integration environments involving:
  • Robotic arms
  • LiDAR systems
  • Thermal and RGB cameras
  • Multispectral sensors
  • Sound cameras
  • Industrial payloads
Furthermore, all development is performed with direct interaction with manufacturer SDKs and APIs, requiring the ability to interpret and implement real technical documentation.

A Global Development Ecosystem

As part of our expansion strategy, XD4Solutions is establishing operations in Hangzhou, China, positioning XD4Robotics close to one of the most advanced robotics ecosystems in the world — creating a unique development bridge between Brazil, China and a global network of engineering collaborators. Additionally, interns will also collaborate with international students through our long-standing partnership with AIESEC, therefore creating a multicultural and technically diverse development environment.

Robotics Internship Program Structure

Consequently, the program includes 4 on-site internship positions in São Paulo, Brazil, divided into two technical scopes: Scope 1 — Robotics Software & Teleoperation (2 positions)
  • Robotics software development
  • Teleoperation and remote robot control
  • Hardware and software integration
  • Sensor integration and technical validation
Scope 2 — AI, Perception & Robotics Integration (2 positions)
  • AI integration and robot perception
  • Robotics data analysis
  • Sensor and payload integration
  • Software applications for robotic systems
Moreover, interns will work in complementary schedules (morning and afternoon), with flexibility according to academic commitments.

Candidate Profile

In particular, we are seeking undergraduate students (2nd to 4th year) in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or Artificial Intelligence. Essential knowledge:
  • Python and programming logic
  • Technical English
  • Linux / Ubuntu
  • Git, GitHub or GitLab
  • Development environments such as VS Code
  • Ability to read APIs, SDKs and technical documentation
Preferred knowledge:
  • C++
  • ROS or ROS2
  • Computer vision
  • Sensor integration and teleoperation systems
Strong differentiators:
  • GitHub portfolio projects
  • Participation in robotics teams or technical initiatives
  • Experience with LLM tools (OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek)
  • Experience with Codex or Claude Code
  • Interest in industrial robotics integration
